Stained glass in modern art – Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe

The Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe (GER) is presenting the exhibition “Stained glass in modern art. The fascination with backlit colour” from July 9th until October 9th, 2011. The works of famous masters such as Johan Thorn Prikker, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Georg Meistermann or Otto Dix are included. Contemporary stained glass is exhibited as well, e.g. showing works by Ludwig Schaffrath, Johannes Schreiter, Gerhard Richter and Hans Gottfried von Stockhausen. One of the exhibiting artists is Ursula Huth.

Made in Germany III – New Glass & Photography, Berlin

Together with Jens Gussek, Susanne & Ulrich Precht, Julius Weiland, Gerhard Ribka and Sebastian Richter Ursula is showing her artwork November 19th until December 3rd, 2011, in Berlin. The Official Opening is on Friday, November 18th at 7 p.m. Invited by Nadania Idriss – gallery New Glass Art & Photography – the exhibition called “Made in Germany III” is displayed Tue – Sat, 1-7 p.m. at Strassburger Str. 6-8.

Art. Reading – Public Library Reutlingen

Members of the association of fine arts district Neckar/Alb show their current works at the Public Library Reutlingen until October 30th, 2010. Ursula shows parts of her series “DAGEWESEN” (“Having been there”), shoe prints, looking like traces. You will find her glass panels in the lobby of the library.
