Three angel pictures by Ursula Huth are placed in The pictures have been exhibited in a number of locations, including the cloister in Maulbronn and the Sarutahiko Temple in Ise, Japan. To mark the 150th anniversary of its founding, Ursula Huth has donated three of her glass pictures to the church, to which both she and her ancestors maintained close links. Her great-grandfather Ludwig Esslinger donated the window illustrating the story of the Passion to the church in 1923.

The three glass plates, etched, partly painted and sand-blasted, will enhance the appearance of the entrance area under the balcony, thereby accompanying visitors to the chancel and then back again to the church door. The priest in charge, Herrmann Müller, interprets the pictures as a fitting counterpart to Luther’s morning blessing: “Let Thy holy angel be with me, that the Wicked Foe may have no power over me.”
